MALAWI, AFRICA........Current Missions

Our dear friends, Charles and Lamar Taylor from Atlanta, moved to the impoverished nation of Malawi, Africa, in Sept 2003, taking with them their son Grant, teachers aide Julie and a Word from the Lord that He would impact one of the poorest countries on earth. In such a short time, we have seen an incredible, supernatural outpouring of Gods Spirit! Within one year, the Taylors held a conference with our Pastors Ray and Dorothy Walls, from Atlanta, and fed and housed almost 1000 Pastors (not lay people) from the surrounding areas in Malawi. Charles would diligently go out ministering in the bush villages, speaking the word of God and teaching about agriculture to a people that were surviving on roots, termites and dust!

The Taylors are laying a new foundation of the Word of God in the hearts of people, reaching out to the Pastors and leaders, giving them hope and diginity.They are also providing, with partners help, vital resources such as Bibles, books, teaching materials, (including sexual morality teachings due to the aids epidemic), grain, food, water and medicines.

Streams of "LIFE" for Mawali

We are believing God to help reduce the number of deaths in Malawi that are caused by unclean, diseased water, and, from starvation due to the droughts they have there every year. The droughts cause the crops to fail and many die of starvation. We desire to see the people have drinking water as well as water for their crops.

A Shallow Well can be provided for $750.00 and a Deep Well can be provided for $2,000.00. A Treadle Pump can be installed for $200.00. These pumps and wells provide clean, disease-free water for drinking, and, water for irrigation of their crops. We are installing these first for the communities of believers so that they can begin to give Jesus to others.

The Taylors are in Malawi only because they love Gods people. They have laid down any 'western luxuries', out of obedience to God and a sincere desire for newness in Malawi. We have never heard them complain and the warfare they face is great, yet they are constantly praising God for His faithfulness and His love.
